About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services offered by ILO Clubs SL ("ILO Studios", "we", "us", "our"), including our physical studio at Carrer de Bailén 56, 08009 Barcelona, our website ilo-studios.com, and our booking platform on Momence.

By booking a session, purchasing a package or membership, or entering our premises, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding contract under Spanish law.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By booking a session, you confirm that you are over 18 and have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

We reserve the right to verify your age at check-in by requesting valid photographic ID.

Bookings and pre-registration

All sessions must be booked in advance through our website or the Momence platform. Walk-ins are accepted only if there are spots available, but we do not guarantee availability.

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your session, especially for first-time visits, so you have time to check in, change, and review the protocol with our staff.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel or reschedule any reservation up to 12 hours before the session start time at no cost.

If you cancel within 12 hours of the session, the booking is considered used and the credit is forfeited from your package or membership.

If you do not show up for a booking ("no-show"), the credit is forfeited with no refund.

Cancellations must be made through your account on Momence or by contacting us directly. Email or messaging cancellations sent within the 12-hour window do not qualify as timely cancellation.

Late arrivals

Once a session has started, latecomers cannot be admitted out of respect for other participants and the integrity of the practice. Late arrivals will lose their session credit.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Memberships

Memberships are billed monthly in advance and include a minimum commitment of three (3) months from your start date.

After the initial 3-month period, your membership will continue automatically on a month-to-month basis until you cancel.

To cancel, you must provide written notice by emailing hello@ilo-studios.com at least thirty (30) days before your next billing date. Your membership will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, after which no further charges will be made.

We do not offer membership freezes, suspensions, or pauses for any reason, including holidays, illness, injury, or relocation.

Unused sessions within a membership cycle do not roll over to the next month.

Packages and credits

Session packs (Discovery, Pack 5, Pack 10, Pack 20, Pack 50) have specific validity periods stated at purchase, ranging from 30 to 365 days.

Credits expire at the end of the validity period and are not extended for any reason, including illness, holidays, or facility closures within reasonable operational limits.

Packages and credits are personal and non-transferable. They may not be shared, sold, or given to another person.

Refund policy

All package, membership, and gift card purchases are final and non-refundable.

Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion, including:

• Documented serious medical conditions preventing all use of the service for an extended period
• Cancellation of a session by ILO Studios with no equivalent rescheduling option
• Verified billing errors

To request an exceptional refund, email hello@ilo-studios.com with full details. We will respond within ten (10) business days.

This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Spanish law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007).

Health, safety and contraindications

Our services involve significant physiological stress, including extreme heat (sauna at 80–95°C) and extreme cold (ice baths at 3–15°C). These practices carry risks and are not suitable for everyone.

You must not participate if you are pregnant or have any cardiovascular condition (including but not limited to heart disease, severe hypertension, recent cardiac event, or unstable arrhythmia).

If you have any other health condition, are taking medication, or are unsure about your ability to participate safely, you must consult a medical professional before booking and disclose this information to our staff at check-in.

By participating, you acknowledge:

• You have read and understood the contraindications above
• You are participating voluntarily and at your own risk
• You will follow all instructions provided by our facilitators and staff
• You will exit the sauna or ice bath immediately if you feel unwell
• You will inform our staff of any medical condition that could affect your safety

ILO Studios accepts no liability for adverse health outcomes resulting from undisclosed medical conditions or failure to follow staff instructions.

Code of conduct

To maintain a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for everyone, all guests must:

• Arrive sober. ILO Studios is an alcohol-free and substance-free facility. Anyone visibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will be denied entry without refund.
• Wear a bathing suit at all times in the practice areas. Nudity is not permitted.
• Be barefoot beyond the changing rooms.
• Respect other guests. Talking is welcome at moderate volumes during open sessions, but quiet must be maintained during guided sessions and Silent Open Flow.
• No hook-up culture. ILO Studios is a wellness space, not a venue for romantic or sexual approaches. Inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal without refund.
• Follow staff instructions at all times, especially during transitions between sauna and ice baths.

Phone and recording policy

Phones are permitted in the entrance, common areas and changing rooms.

Recording, photography and video are strictly prohibited in the sauna and ice bath zones to protect the privacy of other guests. Violations may result in immediate removal from the facility without refund and may be reported to authorities under Spanish data protection and image rights law.

We may take official photography or video of the facility for marketing purposes, always with prior notice. You can request to be excluded from any specific session by informing staff in advance.

What we provide

Each session includes:

• 2 towels per visit
• Access to changing rooms, lockers and hot showers
• Drinking water

We do not provide robes, slippers, swimwear or toiletries. Please bring your own swimsuit.

Liability

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Participation in contrast therapy and breathwork is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk
• ILO Studios is not liable for any injury, illness or loss arising from your failure to disclose medical conditions, follow staff instructions or comply with these Terms
• ILO Studios is not liable for personal items lost, stolen or damaged on the premises (lockers are provided for your use)
• Our maximum aggregate liability to you under these Terms, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, is limited to the total amount you have paid to ILO Studios in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be limited under Spanish law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when the latest changes took effect.

For material changes that affect existing members, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' notice by email or website notification before the changes take effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services immediately, without refund, if you breach these Terms, behave inappropriately or compromise the safety of other guests or staff.

You may stop using our services at any time, subject to the membership cancellation provisions in section 6.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain, except where consumer protection law grants you the right to your local jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
